COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person was injured in a shooting in the University District early Saturday morning, according to a Columbus public safety dispatcher.

Officers were called to the intersection of North High Street and East 14 th Avenue around 2:40 a.m. on a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound. They were taken to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in critical condition.

The dispatcher added that one person was detained at the scene. No additional information was provided.
