“Getting a ‘W’ is always good,” said South Iredell coach Lee Linville, whose team fell on the road in weeks one and two to East Lincoln (3-0) and North Mecklenburg (2-1). “We’ve got some young kids in spots that stepped up tonight. We had a couple seniors that got there and willed us through. It was a good mix for us.”
