PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers inside linebacker Malik Harrison could be an option to play outside linebacker if the team is without Nick Herbig .

Herbig is questionable to play with a hamstring injury, and was limited all week. So, Harrison started working with the edge rushers later in the week in preparation for potentially playing on the edge.

“I do both (positions), so yeah, I’m comfortable with both,” Harrison said. “Going back to high school, I’ve been playing a whole bunch of positions, so yeah, there’s nothing to it. (Game action at outside linebacker) would be nothing new to me.”

Harrison joined the Steelers with over 1000 snaps played on special teams. However, in addition to that, he plays both inside and outside linebacker, which gives the team roster flexibility
