DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Fall-like conditions continue this weekend, but summer will be back by the end of the week.

High pressure settles back overhead today and for the next few days. This comes on the heels of the cold front that moved through this week, meaning today will be cool and breezy. Highs are in the low 70s, and we'll be sunny throughout the afternoon.

The dry pattern will last for the better part of this upcoming week. Many of us across central Illinois are in need of some rain after a drier than average August. This has left most of the region under abnormally dry or a severe drought on the drought monitor.
