Detroit Central 14, Detroit East English 6: Jaden McDonald led the scoring, punching in two rushing touchdowns with 113 yards on the ground for Detroit Central (1-1). Michael Reid also added 102 yards rushing. Marco Cabbil and McDonald both grabbed an interception, while Maurice Fielding and Jerry Gray each recorded eight tackles and a sack to round out a strong defensive effort.
