A Leicestershire woman has opened up on the shock of getting a brain tumour diagnosis just days before her 20th birthday. Keira March had been suffering with headaches, but initially dismissed the severity of the situation.
Keira, from Broughton Astley, had been suffering with persistent headaches and after initially not believing the situation was too serious went to her doctors, but even then didn't think the headaches would "raise alarm bells". However, she was referred to the hospital and everything changed.
Just 18 days before her 20th birthday, she was given the news of the diagnosis. She told LeicestershireLive : "I went to the doctors over issues that wouldn’t raise alarm bells but they told me to go to the hospital. I then went into hospital with persistent headaches, not
