Drunk driving, Interstate 90

On July 26 an officer stopped a driver going 81 mph. When the officer approached the car, he noticed open containers of alcoholic beverages.

The driver, a 26-year-old from Temple, Ga., was given field sobriety tests, and was eventually arrested.

Theft, Center Ridge Road

On July 30 Giant Eagle loss prevention personnel reported a woman was in custody for shoplifting. She stole $70 worth of merchandise.

The 42-year-old Olmsted Falls resident was arrested for theft.

Drunk driving, Argyle Road

On Aug. 2 an officer saw the driver of a Mercedes traveling on the wrong side of the road.

When the officer turned around to stop the driver, he saw the car turn onto Battersea Blvd. and again go into the wrong lane.
