PHOENIX — Police are investigating a shooting that left a man and a male teen in the hospital in Phoenix.

The Phoenix Police Department said the shooting happened Friday at around 9 p.m. near 7th Avenue and Buckeye Road.

"Detectives are on scene and initial information suggests both subjects had shot at and struck each other," police said.

Police said the man and the teen both have non-life-threatening injuries following the shooting. An update on their conditions is not available.
