MANSFIELD, Conn. (WFSB) - Emergency crews responded to a crash in Mansfield on Friday night.

Troopers were called to the area of Route 89 near Mount Hope Road after a report of a car that crashed into a pole, state police said.

Minor injuries were reported.

Eversource assisted on scene to repair the damaged pole.

Officials said the driver was arrested for driving under the influence.

A portion of Route 89 was closed, but it has since reopened.

No further details were released.
