ARP, Texas (KLTV) - Arp’s stingy defense forced four turnovers in the Tigers’ 44-9 win over Garrison Friday night.

Leading the way for Arp offensively was senior quarterback Zane Bourque. He was 2-of-5 passing for 71 yards and a touchdown, while adding 12 carries for 92 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Senior Josh Smith had seven carries for 54 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, through two games, the Tigers’ defense has forced eight turnovers, and returned four interceptions for touchdowns.

Arp got the ball to begin the game, but ended up punting the ball away on their first possession. The Bulldogs took over at their own 20-yard line, and drove to nearly midfield before turning the ball over on downs. Arp scored on their next drive with a 32-yard rushing touchdown by Josh Smith
