Pennsylvania Democratic Party members on Saturday elected former Auditor General Eugene DePasquale as their new state chairman.
Mr. DePasquale, 54, had the backing of Gov. Josh Shapiro, former chairman Sharif Street — a state senator from Philadelphia who is running for Congress — and U.S. Sen. John Fetterman, of Braddock. Democratic Committee members were holding their fall meeting this weekend at the Eden Resort & Suites in Lancaster County.
