LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A detached garage went up in flames Saturday afternoon in central Lincoln.
Crews found flames when they got to the scene near 33rd and R streets just before 2 p.m.
Lincoln Fire & Rescue said the fire was put out within five minutes.
Most of the damage is to the exterior of the garage, but some flames spread to the rafters.
Battalion Chief Jim Bopp said the garage is likely a total loss.
A fire investigator is looking into what caused the blaze.
