AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The 24th anniversary of 9/11 is less than a week away, and every year, fire departments across the country commemorate the date with a run called Tunnels to Towers.
Some of our local fire departments went to Augusta University to take the run across the Summerville campus.
The run is held in honor of a fallen firefighter, Stephen Siller, who ran three miles to the Twin Towers.
