COBB COUNTY, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Tim Hults was just getting off of work at Red Roof Inn in Kennesaw when part of the roof was ripped off.

“The trash can started blowing around and I kept hearing something, like tin cans. So I went out the door when I could, and all of a sudden, I could just see it piece by piece coming right off the roof,” said Hults.

Part of it landed on a black car, which had nobody in it fortunately.

“The car was almost completely covered,” said Hults.

The damage happened when strong storms moved into Cobb County on Saturday, leaving a mess for many.

Another tree fell onto some power lines near Old 41 Highway in Acworth, causing power outages for dozens.
