HOUSTON — Former Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson left Houston in 2022 following a dramatic fall from grace after multiple women accused him of assaulting them during massages.

Grand juries in Harris and Brazoria counties declined to indict Watson in March 2022, and he eventually settled multiple lawsuits by his accusers.

Now, the quarterback has cut what may be his last tie to the city he once called home by selling his southwest Houston mansion.

Watson had been trying to unload the 5,264-square-foot home on Legend Manor Drive since 2017. He originally listed it for $1.65 million but later withdrew the listing.

After other attempts to sell the five-bedroom, five-bathroom house failed, Watson listed it again in February for $1.8 million.
