PERHAM, Minn. — Fourteen kills from senior Kaityn Walthers helped lead the Moorhead volleyball team to its fourth win of the season Saturday.
Walthers paced the Spuds attack in a 3-1 road win at Perham.
Set scores were 11-25, 26-24, 25-17, 25-21.
Walthers also added 5.5 blocks defensively for the Spuds. Senior Madysen Geist finished the contest with seven kills and one block for Moorhead while junior teammate Veen Rajab added four kills and 33 assists.
Moorhead (4-1) will continue a four-game road stretch at Bemidji (0-4) on Thursday, Sept. 11, at 7:15 p.m.
