A drug dealer caught with a knuckle duster claimed his mum used it for "mashing chicken". Hubert Jankowski is now behind bars along with two other members of a gang who supplied cocaine and cannabis resin.

In June 2024, detectives launched an investigation into a drugs supply line known as the CJ line that advertised drugs for sale in the Scarborough area. They were able to piece together evidence that proved Joseph Hull, Hubert Jankowski and Michael Ward were working together to advertise, supply and sell cocaine and cannabis across the town.
