BUNKIE, La. (KALB) - After their best season in two decades, Bunkie Football had no problem carrying that momentum into 2025, with a dominant 42-6 home win over St. Mary’s on Friday night.

Brady Wright was named the Panthers’ starting quarterback following a strong jamboree performance. Wright threw for two first quarter touchdowns to Ron Patterson, while running back Zion Lee ran for a score of his own.

The Panthers’ defense played at a high level as usual. Bunkie forced a safety, as well as two interceptions off the St. Mary’s offense.

Bunkie will seek a 14th straight regular season victory next Friday at home against St. Louis.
