Mateo Gonzalez had a goal and two assists for a total of four points for Dover in its 4-2 win over Wallkill Valley in Hamburg.

Daniel Argenal, Cesar Aguilar and Jhosua Barrientos each added a goal for Dover, while Kevin Vides and Jayden Diaz each chipped in with one assist each.

Dover (2-0) jumped out to an early 2-0 lead after the first half and matched Wallkill Valley with two goals apiece in the second half to secure the victory.

Kooper Nicolai scored both goals for Wallkill Valley (1-1) in the loss. Dennis Aungst and Nick Delcalzo each had an assist.

In goal, Gabriel Rivera made five saves to earn the win for Dover. Cayden Collins made seven saves for Wallkill Valley in the losing effort.
