INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Governor Mike Braun has appointed a new Secretary of Public Safety.
In a post on X, Braun announced that Anthony Scott — the Superintendent of Indiana State Police — had accepted an offer to become the state's next Secretary of Public Safety. Jennifer-Ruth Green had previously occupied the position in Braun's cabinet.
As of this article's publication, the exact reason of Green's departure had not been made clear by Braun's office.
"I want to thank Jennifer-Ruth Green for her service in my cabinet," Braun wrote in his post on X. "She was a part of a transformative time in Indiana’s history, and we wish her the best of luck on her next endeavor."
