CHENEY, Wash. – The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office and Cheney Police Department are actively searching for a suspect in connection with an assault investigation on 2nd Street, according to a media release via Facebook.

The suspect is a 46-year-old white male, standing approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 215 pounds. He was last seen shirtless, with a visible head injury and a green cast on his left arm.

Authorities advise the public not to approach anyone matching this description. Instead, they should immediately call 911.

Residents are urged to avoid the area while law enforcement conducts their search.
