SHREVEPORT, La. — The Red River Quilters are preparing to unveil their 2025 Quilt Show, celebrating the art and creativity of quilting in both modern and traditional styles.

This year’s theme, “Celebrating the Art of the Quilt,” challenges guild members to highlight curves in their designs — whether through improv, traditional, or optical-illusion techniques. A special exhibit, Quilts That Shout, features bold, colorful fabrics inspired by designers like Tula Pink and Kaffe Fassett.

The show promises a festival-like atmosphere for attendees, with vibrant patterns, daring designs, and opportunities to meet the artists behind the quilts.
