NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) - A Norman woman is speaking out now after she says she fell victim to a scam she had never seen before.
Brenda Myers thought she would be the last person this would happen to. Now she's left with a zero balance in her bank account.
The notification Myers got was similar to any iPhone notification that appears on your screen. She believed it was real.
The notification said someone was using her Apple Wallet to make purchases and to call a number to stop the transactions from happening.
Myers says she spent four hours on the phone with someone, and that led to her entire bank account being wiped out.
"It's been really stressful," said Myers."I'd never seen a message like that before on my iPhone. So I called it, and then I hung up because I thought this ain't right
