GIG HARBOR, Wash. — Linda Sholberg has found the perfect antidote to the gray, cloudy days that typically define Pacific Northwest living: creating digital art that captures the region's hidden vibrancy.
The Federal Way artist transforms familiar landscapes into whimsical digital paintings using her iPad, spending hours absorbed in what she calls a meditative process.
"I like to do realism with a little bit of whimsy added to it," Sholberg said. "I kinda get lost in the color, I suppose. It's like meditating."
