After no grand prize winner since May 31, two lucky tickets, sold in Texas and Missouri, matched all six numbers in Saturday’s Powerball drawing and will split a massive $1.787 billion jackpot, according to Powerball officials.

Saturday’s drawing also produced 18 $1 million winners across the country, including in California (2), Colorado, Florida, Illinois (2), Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Ohio (2), Oregon, Texas (2), and West Virginia. Two more tickets in Kansas and Texas hit the Power Play and are worth $2 million each.

This marks the second-largest lottery jackpot ever won in U.S. history, just behind the record-breaking $2.04 billion Powerball prize won in California in 2022. I
