The Red Rock Film Festival returns to Cedar City from Sept. 24-27, 2025, at the Frontier Homestead, offering movie lovers the rare opportunity to see films before they hit theaters.

As announced at recent events such as the July Jamboree, there is a Flash Sale of Early Bird Passes available until July 31 and other specials if purchased before Sept. 15.

Last year, "I Was a Stranger" (formerly "The Strangers' Case") struck a distribution deal with Utah's Angel Studios after playing at the 2024 festival. Set for release in December 2025, the film tells the story of a Syrian family whose lives are forever changed by the conflict in Aleppo, impacting five families across four countries. It won a record 10 awards, including the Grand Jury Prize for Best Fiction Feature at the Red Rock Film Fes
