A driver died after their vehicle hit a tree in Marion County on Wednesday night, according to S.C. Highway Patrol Cpl. Nick Pye.

The crash occurred at 11:09 p.m. as a 2020 Nissan sedan was traveling south on Wahee Road near Cool Springs Road.

The Nissan ran off the road to the right and struck a tree.
