A general view of Donington Park
A British Superbike rider has been placed into an induced coma after a crash at Donington Park. Callum Grigor, from Wishaw, Scotland, remains in a "serious" condition.
The incident occurred during the Pirelli National Superstock Championship race on Saturday (September 6). The crash took place as the 27-year-old rider was approaching Goddards Corner.
Fellow competitor Nathan Harrison was also involved in the collision. Grigor was given immediate medical care on the circuit, before being put into a medically induced coma and transported to Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre, reports the Mirror .
