Grand Rapids residents are being asked their opinion about a major change in the village landscape.

After the Antiques on Front was closed for business and the display windows were covered, residents noted a sign in the window.

Residents who are not savvy in digital communication can’t comply, but the rest of the population is asked to respond to the building utilization survey.

The sign reads: Change is in the Air. The QR code instructs participants to scan it to open the survey on their phone. From that point, there are seven questions that qualify the person as a Grand Rapids resident. Questions include how often you shop in downtown, would you like to lease space, and how do you think the town could benefit from this space?
