Avoid traffic jams before they happen — three closures are scheduled for roadwork on provincial highways in Waterloo on Sept. 7, 2025:

Highway 8 eastbound between Branchton Road and Highway 5 / Peter’s Corners, Hamilton: one alternating lane closed from Sept. 7 at 7 p.m. until Sept. 20 at 7 a.m.

Highway 7 eastbound between Highway 7/8 / Highway 7 and 8 interchange, Stratford and Ottawa Street, Kitchener: one left lane closed from Sept. 8 at 8 a.m. until Sept. 12 at 3 p.m.

Highway 8 eastbound between Sportsworld Drive / Maple Grove Road and Sportsworld Drive / Maple Grove Road, Kitchener: one alternating lane closed from Sept. 8 at 9 p.m. until Sept. 12 at 5 a.m.
