Two men including one from Birmingham have been charged in connection with a stabbing incident in Redditch .

Police officers were called to Plymouth Road in the Worcestershire town at around 5.45pm on Friday (September 5).

A man, in his 30s was taken to hospital with stab wounds which police said ‘are not thought to be life threatening’.

Two men aged 22 and 35 were initially arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

Now two men have been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

One is Damion Nance, aged 22, of Fabian Close, Rednal , Birmingham .

The other Michael Knight, aged 35, of Chapel Street, Headless Cross, Redditch.
