It’s only Week 1, but New York Giants fans are unimpressed with Russell Wilson .
The veteran quarterback made his Giants debut on Sunday against the Washington Commanders. Wilson went 8-of-15 for 58 yards and didn’t throw a touchdown in the first half.
With Jaxson Dart , New York’s 2025 first-round pick, on the sidelines, social media was left unimpressed by Wilson and appeared ready to see the back-up quarterback in action before Sunday’s game was even over.
It also didn’t help that Daniel Jones, the Giants’ former quarterback, completed 17 of his 22 passes for 197 yards with two touchdowns, one passing and one rushing, in the first half of his Indianapolis Colts debut.
