A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured by a vehicle in Bedford, Massachusetts, early Sunday.

When they arrived, officers found the pedestrian, a man, suffering from serious injuries. He was taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and has cooperated with investigators, police said.
