WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - Terrifying moments unfolded Saturday afternoon when a car plowed into Generations of Wichita, an antique and home décor shop south of Tyler Road. The owners are left cleaning up the mess, but say they’re grateful no one was hurt.
The crash happened around 1:20 p.m. while the shopkeeper and several customers were inside. The damage forced the store to temporarily close, but it reopened at noon on Sunday.
Manager Vicki Winchell, who was standing just inches from the impact, described the crash as feeling like an explosion.
"Shocked. Completely shocked that it happened. Hoping everyone was all right, and we had vendors and customers and employees that all stepped in together when we watched it back, we started noticing all the people that could have been hurt really
