CHEMUNG COUNTY, N.Y. (WENY) -- Chemung County is adding some high-flying fun to its annual Fall Fest this year. The county’s first-ever Pumpkin Chucking Contest will be held Saturday, October 18.
Teams will design and launch their own pumpkin-tossing devices, competing for prizes in both distance and accuracy. Two divisions will be offered, a youth division for kids ages 12 to 17 and an adult division for anyone 18 and up.
The contest will take place on Saturday, October 18 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
