MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Raleigh, the Memphis Police Department said.

Just before 4:00 Friday afternoon, Memphis Police said, officers were sent to the intersection of Highland and James Rd. in Raleigh for a pedestrian who'd been struck by a car. Police said the officers found the man with serious injuries; he was taken to the hospital for treatment.

MPD said the driver drove off after the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH.
