Illinois College's Aliza Rodriguez has been recognized as the Midwest Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, according to an announcement from the league.
Rodriguez played a key role in helping Illinois College begin its 2025 season with two wins. The sophomore, who is from Northglenn, Colorado, scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory over Principia on Friday. She followed up by scoring twice—including the decisive goal—in a 5-4 win against Nebraska Wesleyan on Sunday.
The Lady Blues are scheduled to play their next match at Augustana, with kickoff set for 6:00 p.m. Tuesday.
