BLOOMINGTON — Anyone wondering what Indiana football coach Curt Cignetti thought of Fernando Mendoza ’s afternoon against Kennesaw State on Saturday might have gotten their biggest hint when Cignetti was asked about someone else entirely.

A reporter actually prompted Cignetti’s comment with a question about Elijah Sarratt ’s three-touchdown day. According to the official transcript, Cignetti spent one paragraph talking about Sarratt, and two on Mendoza.
