NASHVILLE — Music City isn't Frisco.

One is "the new Vegas," with a famed downtown area that transforms into an all-out party at night. The other is a sprawling suburb north of Dallas without a central area in which to gather, sometimes spreading out fans among places like the Star District in Frisco, the Legacy area of Plano or downtown "Big D" some 35 miles away.

One will use a cozy and newly renovated football stadium with all the bells and whistles on a glorious college campus (as we chronicled last week after getting a tour of Vanderbilt University's FirstBank Stadium) , the other used a soccer stadium (currently undergoing a massive upgrade) that sometimes seemed an odd fit for a football game.
