Week 1 of the 2025 NFL season is nearly over. And if you play fantasy football, you’re already planning ahead with waivers after a busy slate of games.

That’s what we’re here for, a roundup of some of the players you could be targeting ahead of Week 2 in fantasy football.

Some of the names below might be taken already, but if not, there are a bunch of dudes who could change your fantasy fortunes this season. Let’s run through them, in no particular order, and we've updated this after the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings played on Monday Night Football.

And if you're debating who to drop for some of the biggest names out there, well, let NFL writer Christian D'Andrea and betting guide the Rhode Island Scumbag break down where some of Week 1's biggest risers fit on the pecking order.

WR Hollywood Brown, Kansas City Chiefs

Rashee Rice is suspended. Xavier Worthy is hurt. Here's your WR1 in KC for now.

WR Quentin Johnston, Los Angeles Chargers

We've been here before with the wideout -- he has a big game, then he doesn't. But two TDs and seven targets are enough to make him a must-grab this week.

RB Dylan Sampson, Cleveland Browns

He was a big part of the Browns' passing game. Even with Quinshon Judkins now signed, Sampson might be relevant in the short- and long-term.

TE Harold Fannin Jr., Cleveland Browns

David Njoku is still there and healthy right now in Cleveland, but Fannin might be a factor after a 63-yard day.

WR Keenan Allen, Los Angeles Chargers

He had 10 targets! That's a big deal, even though we're unsure if the Chargers are going to be as pass-heavy as we saw in Week 1.

QB Daniel Jones, Indianapolis Colts

I can't believe it either. But "Indiana Jones" looked unreal on Sunday. Was it because the Dolphins were just THAT bad? Maybe. But it's worth finding out.

WR Calvin Austin, Pittsburgh Steelers

He caught a touchdown and had the second-most targets on the team. I'm intrigued.

TE Jake Tonges, San Francisco 49ers

Here's your replacement for the injured George Kittle on the Niners.
