"It is so very important for students to have the basic supplies they need to achieve in the classroom," TC Baker, executive manager of Wallace Subaru of Johnson City, said in the release. "That’s why we are so passionate about this program. It puts all students on equal footing when it comes to basic classroom tools. We also don’t think it’s fair that so many teachers spend their own money on classroom supplies. That’s why the monetary donation is important to us."
