LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - Lufkin ISD officials say an unloaded gun was found in the high school restroom Monday morning.

The school has resumed normal operations following an investigation, according to an ISD Facebook post.

The gun was found in a restroom trash can, according to the post.
