LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - One man is dead and a woman is in critical condition after a house fire on Sunday.

Louisville Police were called to assist Fairdale Fire with a fire on June Drive around 5:15 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7. Initially, LMPD said everybody was able to get out of the house, but firefighters confirmed Monday that a man died and a woman remains in the hospital.

Arson investigators believe the fire was intentionally set with those two people inside, but did not say if the injuries were caused by the fire.
