Antiques Roadshow expert Steven Moore was left speechless as a guest brought in a vase he'd bought by accident and gave the piece a staggering valuation

An Antiques Roadshow guest was left baffled after receiving a jaw-dropping valuation. ‌

The BBC show returned to our screens on 7 September and the first episode featured a guest who had unwittingly purchased a £20 vase that turned out to be much more than meets the eye. ‌

The unsuspecting buyer admitted he'd picked up the piece at an antiques fair and mistook it for a Royal Lancaster, only to later dismiss the piece as a "fake copy" and keep it under his sink for two years. ‌
