UPDATE: The trial of a former Chattanooga police officer charged with murder has been rescheduled to April 20 of 2026 with a motion hearing now set for February 17.

The change comes after a hearing Monday in Chattanooga after attorneys for Lawrence Goodine asked for approval to fund an expert and private investigator.
