Some savvy moves from the New York Yankees played a prominent role in their series win over the Toronto Blue Jays.

The Yankees were able to knock off the Blue Jays by a 4-3 final on Monday, giving them the 2-1 edge in their three-game series. The win, however, didn’t come without some controversy.

Many watching Monday’s outing noticed that the Yankees seemed to be relaying pitches throughout the game. One particular instance came in the first inning, where Aaron Judge was spotted spreading his arms wide periodically during a Ben Rice at-bat. The 26-year-old Rice wound up crushing a three-run home run to give his team the early lead.
