Gillon McLachlan has emerged as an unlikely contender to return to the AFL as chair of the commission.
The league’s former CEO, who stepped away in 2023 after nine year in the role, could return to the AFL as part of a three-man ticket alongside former Collingwood president Eddie McGuire and former Western Bulldogs president Peter Gordon, according to The Agenda Setters’ Caroline Wilson.
