NEW YORK (PIX11) – If you watch Formula 1 highlights online, you may be entitled to a piece of a $5.5 million class action settlement.
Formula 1 has agreed to settle a lawsuit accusing the company of sharing subscribers’ information without consent, according to the official website for the settlement. Formula 1 denies breaking the law.
Anyone with a Formula 1 account who watched pre-recorded videos on F1’s website or app between May 21, 2022 and June 24, 2025, is eligible for the settlement. Claimants can get up to $17 in cash, according to the settlement agreement.
Claims are due by Sept. 22, 2025. To submit, you’ll need to enter the email address associated with your F1 account, then choose if you want payment by check, PayPal or Venmo. For more information on making a claim, click h
