BELLEROSE, Queens (PIX11) -- The search continues for a suspect wanted in connection with a double homicide that happened inside a home in Queens on Monday.

Sources tell PIX11 News that there's a person of interest known to the police, but that no one had been apprehended by 3 p.m. Tuesday.

A couple died after they were set on fire at their home on 254th Street, sources tell PIX11 News.

Sources say that a 77-year-old man was discovered tied to a pole in the basement.

A 78-year-old woman was also found in the basement and had been burned beyond recognition, according to sources.

Surveillance video obtained by authorities showed a man between 30 and 40 years old wearing a black hat, a black jacket, blue jeans and black sneakers walking past the home.
