One man was sent to the hospital in critical condition after a crash on northbound I-75 on Saturday, Sept. 6.
The crash was reported at 11:47 a.m. The Monroe County Sheriff's Office said Hajaj Alhawry, 38, of Dearborn, was driving a tractor-trailer in the middle lane. However, he slowed to a stop due to traffic congestion for an approaching construction zone.
After stopping, Alhawry's trailer was hit from the right rear side by a black Ford Fusion driven by Jonathon Martin, 32, of Rockwood.
Martin was taken to Corewell Health Trenton Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. Alhawry was uninjured.
